I think the black and white contrast works really well here, and I find it interesting that the snow itself adds more to this piece. It would have been interesting seeing it all in Autumn with colours otherwise, if you get where I'm coming from.

Still, the contrast between the black and white, and the shades in between, really add more depth here. I like the lighting and the shadows it creates, and how patterned and regular it feels overall.

Yes, the colors were kind of dull, so I decided to go with black and white - I like the emphasis it put on the shadows and lighting. I imagine I will get to go the city during the fall, though it'll be awhile! The colors would've been much more vibrant :nod:
